Summer in San Francisco

October arrived and, predictably, we’re getting the warmest, sunniest weather of the year now everyone else is starting to feel the chill of autumn. I had to make the most of the sunshine so I grabbed my camera and walked over to the Botanical Gardens in the Golden Gate Park. I was deliberately hunting for signs of autumn but I found flowers and butterflies of summer, fresh shoots of spring and only a handful of seeds & berries and browns & oranges of the current season. I’ll save the autumnal images for another post, for now I’m holding onto summer!
